If you’d like to pursue an acting career but don’t know where to start, this one day workshop — led by established Casting Director Kathy McKee (Miss January, 61*, Hardball and several films in preproduction) — will empower you with the knowledge you need to break into showbiz right here in Michigan without breaking a leg, leaving town,or looking like an amateur! Kathy has worked with several well-known actors including Sammy Davis, Bill Cosby, Johnny Carson, Christopher Walken, and more!

Topics include HOW TO:

• Market yourself (your resume, headshot, look and personality).
• Prepare for auditions (cold/prepared reads, dynamics & attire).
• Earn your way into the unions (SAG/AFTRA).
• Get an agent.
• Make friends with casting directors.
• Manage expectations, find work and succeed!
