After a year or so I moved to Los Angeles where I acted a little and got involved in cable TV – producing and hosting, etc... I’ve worked in Tampa, Northern California, Detroit in Radio and TV and returned to Lansing to start a news operation in 1997 at ABC. I’ve been in Denver since March of 2001 where I am the Entertainment Reporter and do fill in Weather.

You were an instructor here as well. What would you say is the most important lesson you'd teach students today?
I taught at Specs briefly in 1993. My advice to students is do everything! I have done Radio/TV/Cable/News and Promotions. Don’t limit yourself.

What have been some of the highlights of your career?
Highlights of my career include my many celebrity interviews and hard news stories -- the riots in East Lansing a few years back, getting tear gassed but winning a number of Associated Press awards; acting on ED, SCRUBS, DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been fun; interviewing and singing a duet with Debby Gibson; a "Where Are They Now" segment on Nina Blackwood, one of the original VJs on MTV; and interviewing Britney Spears, Grace Slick, Peter Max, The cast of ER, and WEST WING.
