About Specs Howard

Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts is a recognized center for radio, television and film education located in Southfield, MI. Founded in 1970, over 12,000 students have graduated from Specs Howard over the years, filling positions in all facets of the broadcast industry. Specs Howard has an additional educational facility offering workshops in film as a response to the growing demand for trained crew people in Michigan. Specs Howard's newest facility is located in Studio Center in Farmington Hills, the only Hollywood-style production lot currently in operation in Michigan.
