Job Description:
I enter the enrollments for students who wish to attend. I download and enter leads into the computer and distribute them to the reps.
I also administer the entrance evaluations to the students and grade them. My favorite part of my job is setting up for events and having fun!
Education: I went to Macomb Community College on and off for a few years and I'm currently at Baker College studying Accounting/Computer Information Systems.
Past experience: I worked at Red Robin for five years then for a small cafe in Royal Oak.
What do you like most about your job?
Having my own office and all the people that I work with.
What impresses you most in a prospective student?
Dressing nice for your interview, even for school!
What do you watch when you turn on the TV?
Hands down the Sopranos. I also like to yell at Alex Trebek each night.
Why do you turn on the radio?
I love Mike in the Morning!
What do you think of reality TV?
Life wouldn't be the same without Jon & Kate Plus 8!
Favorite TV commercial: I used to like the Caveman ones until they made that awful pilot.
Likes: Going up north and tubing on the river or boating in the lake, going to concerts, books
Dislikes: Rollercoasters, bugs
Favorite place: Anyplace that my friends are
One thing you'd like to learn: to play guitar
Pets: 2 cockatiels- Petey and Honey Bee
Subjects that interest you: English, history
Favorite movie: That's a hard choice, so many genres to pick from! Taxi Driver or The Deer Hunter and The Virgin Suicides.
Places traveled: I've been to 12 states and most of Ontario.
Greatest accomplishments: Actually going on a rollercoaster when I went to DisneyWorld in high school. It was terrifying but I'm glad that I did it!
Best book: The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides, the Bible
Special talents/skills/hobbies: Reading, writing short stories, playing Guitar Hero, cooking, music- I love classic rock and alternative but have a small spot in my heart for The Spice Girls
Things people associate with you: Books and the fact that I can smile through anything
What would people be surprised to know about you?
My parents have a ridiculous video of me on Channel 2 from when I was a kid... I said something that I will never live down!
