My job consists of overseeing the marketing, admissions, and placement departments as well as industry relations and Media Power. I need to clearly outline expectations and monitor progress toward those expectations. My typical day consists of monitoring my departments and meeting with directors to ensure they have the tools necessary to do their job. I spend a lot of time in meetings with department heads, reviewing data on marketing, admissions, retention and placement and planning for future growth.

My ultimate goals are to ensure student enrollments, make sure students are getting a quality education and make sure students find employment in the industry.

Previous Experience: Service Manager Communications Systems Group, 1998-1999; President and CEO of Media Power, 1996-1998

Previous positions at SHS include:

Member of SHS staff since 1985; Director, Director of Admissions, Controller and Business Manager.

Education: Oakland University, Major Business Mgmt./Marketing, Several accrediting workshops, Several seminars relating to management, Several workshops relating to communications industry including attending the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas for the past 9 years in a row.
