Benefits Coordinator

Mary has been a part of the Specs Howard staff since 1988. When Mary decided to leave her post as Business Manager in 2000 to and raise her four children, she agreed to stay on part-time as Benefits Coordinator. Prior to working at Specs, Mary was the Business Manager at Gromek, Bendure & Thomas.

Education: Attended Macomb Community College, majoring in Computer Accounting.

Past experience: I was the Business Manager here at Specs for 12 years and at a Law firm in Detroit for 4 years.

What do you like most about your job? The people at this company.

Favorite TV commercial: The Kohler Shower commercial where a husband and wife feverishly racing home, undressing on the streets to be the first to take a shower. The husband won and left his wife locked out of the house.

What TV advertisement bugs you the most? The advertisements that make drinking alcohol sexy and a necessity to having fun.

Favorite radio station: WCSX and WDVD

Why do you usually turn on the radio? To indulge or change my mood.

If you could interview anyone, who would it be? My mom and dad.

Likes: Family life, great friends, great conversations and great music

Dislikes: Selfishness, rudeness, lack of compassion and bloody movies
