RENEE VITALE
Admissions Representative

Renee has worked for Specs Howard School since 2000 and has served as Audio Floater, Audio Instructor, Audio Internship Advisor, and now spends her time representing Specs Howard at high school visits and career fairs. You may have also heard Renee covering weekends on the air at 96.3 WDVD.

A Specs grad, Renee has been working “in the business” for six years, and considers one of her biggest accomplishments to be working in Detroit radio for five of those years! Renee attributes her love of radio to her dad. She says that it all started with a HAM radio. Not only was her father a HAM radio operator, but he also had a CB radio that Renee was able to hone her skills on while growing up. In addition, Renee’s dad would take her to live radio remote broadcasts as a child, which served to further inspire her to pursue a career in radio. Renee enjoys movies, traveling, wine and ethnic foods. She recently learned to crochet (which she finds very relaxing) and would eventually like to learn to speak Italian. Buona fortuna, Renee!
